With the recent statutory changes in the industry, it has become necessary to blend ethanol with motor gasoline. The blending process affects the property of the water bottom after a short period of time, rendering the green Aquadis water finding paste less effective in measurement. To offset this difficulty our water finder has been modified to perform with ethanol blends of 5% or more with very satisfactory results.

PRODUCT PROPERTIES

Hygroscopic, yellow coloured paste reacts with water to sharply change colour to a bright pink. It is totally unaffected by any petroleum fuel or solvent, and therefore does not cause contamination of the petroleum products through which it may pass.

Make sure surface of the dipping gadget is free from traces of oil. Apply a thin and even layer of paste 8-10 cm on either side of the anticipated ‘cutting line’.

Introduce gadget vertically into the tank till it touches the tank bottom. Hold steady for 15-20 seconds.

Remove gently. Observe for sharp pink demarcation representing water bottom.
